AXA UK is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join the Ipswich team. You will support the Statutory Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager in handling statutory reporting and technical accounting for the AXA UK Group, covering UK GAAP and IFRS, and provide independent quality checks on balance sheet reconciliations.
The role requires strong IFRS/FRS knowledge, ability to work independently, and effective communication to train other Finance teams.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Accountant to join our Ipswich team. You'll be supporting the Statutory Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager in handling the statutory reporting and technical accounting work for the AXA UK Group. The team aims to be the expert resource on technical accounting and act as the main contact for local statutory reporting, covering UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as Group reporting under IFRS. You'll also be providing independent quality checks on the balance sheet reconciliations of all AXA UK entities.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
