Qualifications

• Cross-class underwriting experience in the middle market.
• 8+ years of underwriting experience.
• 4+ years in the Technology sector.
• Established relationships with specialist Technology brokers.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead external engagement and business development within the Technology sector.
• Prioritization and evaluation of new and renewal submissions to identify profitable accounts.
• Set terms and conditions per underwriting strategy to quote qualified risks.
• Attend client/broker meetings and related events.
• Exercise underwriting pricing to meet profitability goals.
• Expand portfolio by developing existing relationships and new clients.
• Support governance, risk identification and escalation.
