Job summary

Eames Consulting, on behalf of a leading global insurer, is seeking a Technology Underwriter to join its UK team.

The role focuses on growing the Technology portfolio, underwriting Technology PI, Cyber and package business while building strong broker relationships across the UK.

You will work in a market-facing capacity, identifying opportunities and driving portfolio growth with flexibility on location (London, Manchester or Leeds).

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Technology and Cyber risks.

• Ability to develop broader P&C or technology package offerings.

Job description

Eames are working with a leading global insurer who are looking to hire a Technology Underwriter into their team.

The role will focus on growing their UK Technology portfolio, underwriting a combination of Technology PI, Cyber and package business across both new and existing clients.

Alongside hands-on underwriting, the successful candidate will have a strong business development focus, working closely with retail brokers across the UK to develop relationships, identify new opportunities and grow the portfolio.

They are particularly interested in candidates with experience underwriting Technology and Cyber risks and strong broker relationships. Experience across broader P&C or combined Technology products would be beneficial, although there is flexibility for someone with a strong Technology/Cyber background who can develop the wider package experience.

This would suit an underwriter who enjoys being out in the market and is looking for a role with greater responsibility for broker development and portfolio growth.

There is flexibility on location, with candidates in London, Manchester or Leeds all potentially considered.
