Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets in London is seeking a Lead Developer to own the technical delivery of software solutions across the Distribution portfolio. You will mentor developers, drive coding best practices, and ensure high quality outputs within deadlines.

Working with Architects, Solution Engineers and Product Owners, you will translate requirements into robust designs, contribute to solution discussions, and lead the team through complex build activities in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience in Agile environments.
• 3+ years in lead/developer roles with hands-on delivery responsibility.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript; Python/Java a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of features and integrations across the Distributor Connectivity Distribution team.
• Mentor developers, drive coding best practices and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Translate requirements into robust designs; contribute to solution architecture discussions.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing and release management; remove blockers for the team.
• Collaborate with Architects, Solution Engineers and Product Owners to refine designs and requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and share knowledge across teams.
