Job summary

Autism Bedfordshire is seeking a driven Senior Team Leader to oversee the Stay and Play Group in Biggleswade. The role involves managing staff, planning sessions, and ensuring compliance with policies to deliver a safe, inclusive experience for autistic children aged 3-12 and their families.

Working part-time on Saturdays 9am-1:45pm, you will supervise volunteers, coordinate activities, and support safeguarding, health and safety, and DBS processes to continuously improve service delivery for

• Experience of Health/Education/Social Care Roles.
• Experience of Managing Challenging Behaviour.
• Knowledge of Autism.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and planning activities.
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
• Prioritising the welfare of staff, volunteers, and service users.
• Handling First Aid and accident reporting.
• Implementing Fire and Emergency procedures.
• Supporting and promoting Safeguarding initiatives.
• Managing and assisting Team Leaders, paid staff, and volunteers.
• Performing administrative tasks and other related duties.
