Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an experienced registered professional to lead the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT) as Team Leader. You will supervise a multidisciplinary group, drive service development and ensure high-quality care.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication and the ability to manage priorities, with collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, probation and other partners.

Qualifications

• Experience of mental health inpatient/community work.
• Experience of MDT working.
• Advanced leadership and management experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of a multi-disciplinary community-based team.
• Lead service development and initiatives as part of the senior leadership team.
• Chair clinical and operational meetings regularly with colleagues.
• Provide specialised advice contributing to diagnosis, care or education of patients/clients.
• Participate in service on-site/on-call rota as required.
