Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support student achievement across all learning platforms. You will monitor progress, implement development plans, and assist diverse learner needs, including SEND and EAL.

You will deliver interventions, support in exams and visits, and help create individual development plans while maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality. A Level 3 qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification relating to working with children and young people.
• Experience supporting students with SEND or EAL and delivering targeted interventions.
• Proficient with educational ICT packages (SIMS, o'Cloud, Praising Stars).
• Strong communication and safeguarding awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record student progress and support the teacher with assessments.
• Deliver targeted learning activities and short-term interventions.
• Provide cover and support in learning environments and during exams.
• Support students with SEND/EAL and assist in development of individual plans where appropriate.
