Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust seeks a Teaching Assistant to work with teachers, delivering tailored learning activities and providing academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.

The role covers classroom support, intervention management for SEND/EAL, and helping to develop individualised student support plans, while contributing to student progress monitoring and feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment or with children and young people.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexibly.
• Willing to undertake necessary training to assist students.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities and learning sessions.
• Assist with intervention for SEND and EAL students.
• Help develop individual student support plans (e.g., One Page Profiles, EHCPs).
• Escort and supervise students on educational visits and in examinations.
