Ansford Academy in Castle Cary, Somerset, is seeking a committed Senior Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will work with teachers and students to support learning and inclusion, following our Aspire, Respect, Engage values.

Flexible patterns include 8:45 AM – 3:45 PM over 4 days or 5 mornings. Applicants should have at least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, with strong communication and teamwork.

Formación

• At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications), including Maths and English.
• Strong communication, planning and teamwork skills.
• Interest in learning, training and professional growth in educational support.

Responsabilidades

• Work collaboratively with teachers, senior staff and pupils to support learning and access.
• Help students build confidence, independent learning skills and personal growth.
• Lead specific initiatives within the department (e.g., ELSA or EBSA interventions) and advocate for student wellbeing.
