Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a Senior Teaching Assistant for Ulverston Victoria High School. The role is permanent, term-time only (plus inset), Monday to Friday, 33.5 hours per week. Salary ranges from £29,542 to £30,515, with actual pro rata salaries for part-time positions.

The STA will work under supervision to implement programmes for individuals or groups, under the SENCO, focusing on student learning, engagement, and confidence. A NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
