Job summary

Aggreko in Glasgow seeks a Senior Tax Reporting Manager to lead global tax reporting for the group, ensuring timely data for senior stakeholders. You will own end-to-end processes, including consolidation, quarterly cycles, budgets and forecasts, and cash tax projections, while driving process improvements and working with auditors and external advisers.

Hybrid working is available, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and clear communication across multi-country

Qualifications

• Qualified ICAS/ACA/CTA or equivalent.
• Post-qualification experience in tax reporting within a large multinational group.
• Strong knowledge of tax reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with external auditors and BPO providers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end tax reporting for the Aggreko global group, including year-end consolidation.
• Prepare quarterly reporting, budgets and forecasts, and cash tax projections.
• Disclosures and liaise with tax authorities as required.
• Manage external auditors/advisors and drive continuous improvements.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Senior Tax Reporting Manager based in Glasgow. As Senior Tax Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of our global tax reporting across the Aggreko group. Your leadership will help us to optimise our tax reporting processes and deliver timely and meaningful information to key stakeholders within the group. Power without pause. What You\'ll Do As Senior Tax Reporting Manager

• Own the end-to-end tax reporting process for the Aggreko global group, including:
  • Year-end tax consolidation
  • Quarterly reporting
  • Budget and forecast projections
  • Cash tax actuals and projections
  • Tax disclosures
• Manage external auditors and advisors throughout the tax reporting process.
• Drive continuous improvement within the group's tax reporting systems, processes, and procedures.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate to ensure delivery of the above responsibilities.

You Are

• Qualified ICAS/ACA/CTA or equivalent.
• Possessing post-qualification experience in tax reporting, ideally within a large multinational group.
• Equipped with strong experience and knowledge of tax reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experienced in working with Thomson Reuters OTP system, or similar tax reporting technology.
• Beneficially, experienced in working in an outsourced finance function in conjunction with an external BPO provider (though not critical).
• Highly analytical with strong communication skills.
• An excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with tax authorities and influence a variety of internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrating experience of working to multiple deadlines under time pressure.
• Able to quickly understand new technical issues and stay up to date with developing technical areas.
