Job summary

Pro-Tax Recruitment, in partnership with a Top 10 firm, seeks an advisory focused Tax Senior Manager to lead private equity backed client work. You will operate in a close knit corporate tax team, supporting businesses through deals and helping stakeholders prepare for exits.

Based in Birmingham, the role blends compliance and advisory work, building strong client rapport, delivering high quality tax reports for exits, and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/CA/ACCA qualified (UK or non-UK qualifications considered).
• Strong technical tax experience in private equity backed firms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and delivery of tax advice to clients.

Responsibilities

• Work in a joint compliance and advisory role with a close client base.
• Provide creative tax solutions addressing PE and investment fund issues.
• Present deal analyses and write high-quality tax reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with transfer pricing and wider corporate tax team to tailor solutions.
• Mentor and develop less experienced team members.

Pro-Tax Recruitment are working in partnership with a Top 10 firm who currently seek an advisory focused Tax Senior Manager to focus on private equity backed clients. Working within a close knit and busy corporate tax team you will focusing on supporting businesses going through deals and helping stakeholders to prepare for exits.

In this role you will be:

• Working in a joint compliance and advisory role where you will build a rapport with your clients and establish a clear understanding of their business.
• Aware of issues affecting private equity and investment funds and be able to provide creative solutions
• Demonstrating sound technical knowledge on deals and be able to present these to clients as well as writing high quality reports.
• Working effectively with the transfer pricing and wider corporate tax team in finding the right solutions for clients
• Assisting in the mentorship and development of the less experienced members of the team.

In order to be consider for this Tax Senior Manager role you will:

• Be CTA/ACA/CA/ACCA qualified. A non UK qualification will be considered.
• Have strong technical tax experience dealing with private equity backed firms
• Have great interpersonal skills and will be experienced in delivery tax advice.
