Job Title: Senior Tax Manager
Reporting to the Director of Tax & Treasury in the UK (DTT), the Senior Tax Manager will:
- Take responsibility for and support the department in all aspects of corporation tax compliance and reporting requirements of various trading and corporate companies, including day-to-day transaction support to the UK operations.
- Manage and collaborate with the team across all corporate tax areas such as UK group planning, compliance management, tax risk management, CFC review, transfer pricing, and others as required.
- Provide indirect tax, transaction, and project support as needed.
- Review some indirect tax returns prepared by UK Finance.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, fulfill legal documentation requirements, and respond to HMRC enquiries.
- Handle tax reporting for various business units at quarter-end, year-end, and during planning/budgeting cycles.
- Support reporting of the UK tax charge and submission of key figures to Group Tax.
- Assist in UK group planning activities, including group losses, CA disclaims, and group calculations, ensuring proper interaction with transfer pricing and timely submissions.
- Contribute to group-wide compliance requirements such as CFC review, transfer pricing, and SAO.
- Manage UK compliance processes, including HMRC enquiries.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate UK direct and indirect tax liabilities.
- Support in maintaining tax risk management systems, processes, and controls.
- Develop links between UK tax, finance, and operational teams, providing transaction and project support across taxes.
- Assist in tax projects as needed.
- Perform technical reviews of other taxes (employee taxes, VAT, CIS, customs, etc.), monitor submissions and payments, and support tax audits and queries.
