Job summary

A global engineering and consultancy firm is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to lead Transmission & Distribution projects in the UK. The role includes overseeing design management, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with UK standards. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a track record in T&D infrastructure and a Chartered Engineer status. This position offers opportunities to influence strategy and lead significant power infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering with T&D exposure.
• Proven experience in Transmission & Distribution infrastructure, including substations.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as Design Manager / Lead Engineer for T&D projects.
• Lead the delivery of designs for substations and cable routes.
• Oversee design risk management and technical assurance.
