Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer to provide governance, management and support across the FJCAST delivery team. You will develop SbD policies, security requirements and RMF/STRIDE artefacts, ensuring ATO readiness and secure operations across domains.

The role collaborates with engineering teams, defines security plans, supports bids, and guides customers on architecture and risk management while maintaining MoD regulations and UK government security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 10 years' experience or MSc with 7 years.
• Experience in security governance and RMF/STRIDE.
• SbD planning and secure design experience.
• Ability to produce security artefacts, plans and policies.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in systems engineering and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead task planning and agile governance with customer focus.
• Develop RMF/STRIDE artefacts and SbD policies.
• Define top-level security requirements and implementation concepts.
• Collaborate with delivery teams on security architectures.
• Support bids, proposals and customer trade-offs.
• Assist in achieving Authority to Operate (ATO).
