Thales Group in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Systems IVVQ Engineer to perform systems IVVQ activities and gather formal verification evidence for a compliant, safe product. The role involves defining and executing integration, verification and validation across Land and Sea Optronic equipment and providing engineering support to hardware/software teams.

You will work within a hybrid setup, engaging with test houses and customer sites, and contribute to IVVQ strategy, test equipment requirements

Qualificações

• Experience with Systems Engineering methods for Design, Verification, Validation, Qualification, and Acceptance.
• Skilled in defining and performing Integration and Verification tests for complex systems.
• Familiar with Siemens Polarion or equivalent tools for managing requirements traceability.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Integration, Verification & Validation for Optronic equipment for Land and Sea.
• Provide Systems Engineering support to Hardware & Software teams during subsystem integration.
• liaise with Test Engineering to ensure test equipment requirements are captured.
• Generate System Test Plans, Procedures & Reports.
• Generate Environmental and EMC test plans, Procedures & Reports.
• Provide IVVQ input to strategy, plan and subcontracted items.
• Define Test Equipment Requirements.
• Maintain equipment availability for IVVQ activities and demonstrations.
• Attend off-site trials at test houses and customer sites.
• Fault diagnosis / root cause investigations.
• Maintain a configuration build status of the equipment under test.
• Perform HSE and other duties as required.
• Provide support and coaching to IVVQ Engineers.
