I'm looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join BAE Systems in Prestwick, South Ayrshire.
This is a hybrid-working role requiring 3 days per week on-site. You MUST be eligible for security clearance (SC) to be considered for this role.
As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you will use your engineering knowledge and experience to propose and develop solutions throughout our product development cycle. This key role involves integrating components and systems to form a System of Systems. You will lead the integration across all aspects of Air platforms & products, covering all stages from concept to delivery, managing the maturity of engineering solutions, taking corrective actions as needed, and ensuring high standards and good engineering governance. Specializations may include System Architecting, System Design, Configuration Control, Requirements Management, or Qualification.
Requirements include a degree in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with relevant experience in the engineering lifecycle.
Experience in an engineering integration environment, preferably from Aerospace, Automotive, Rail, or Nuclear industries.
Knowledge of Model Based Engineering approaches and tools such as Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, ANSYS.
Experience managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills at all organizational levels.
Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
Accreditation to INCOSE or similar is desirable but not essential.
The salary ranges from £53,569 to £62,497, plus benefits.
