Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a senior IT professional in London with 10+ years of experience in Windows Server administration, VMware vSphere, HP/Dell hardware, and AWS. The role focuses on on-call support, incident/problem/change management, SLA adherence, and leading a technical team to maintain and optimize the client’s virtual environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experienced Information Technology Professional
• Expertise in installation, configuration and administration of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Experience with vSphere, HP Blade, Dell and AWS
• On-Call support for Windows Server infrastructure
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change management processes
• Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP and group policy

Responsibilities

• Provide On-Call support for Windows Server infrastructure
• Monitor performance and ensure system functionality using tools like SolarWinds and Zenoss
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine to moderately complex issues
• Ensure user satisfaction through preventative maintenance
• Participate in Incident, Problem and Change management processes
• Manage SLA metrics and develop operating policies
• Oversee team delivery and provide technical guidance
• Perform server upgrades and migrations
• Remote management using iLO, RSA, DRAC
• Migration of Domain Controllers and AD migrations
• Work with multiple teams and third parties to resolve issues
