Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for an on-site contract in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. The role focuses on cutting-edge defence systems with responsibilities spanning requirements management, verification planning, trade studies and research projects.

Applicants should have extensive systems engineering experience on large-scale programmes, plus Matlab/Simulink modelling skills, V&V lifecycle familiarity, and knowledge of Comms & RF architectures. SC clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle on large-scale programmes, preferably in the Command & Control domain.
Proficient in Matlab/Simulink modelling and simulation.
Experience in Verification and Validation lifecycle.
Ability to develop Verification & Acceptance statements.
Knowledge of Communications & RF network architectures.
Experience with change proposal assessment and embodiment.
Familiar with Def-Stan, MIL-STD and industry best practice.
Understand system-level limitations and behaviours.
