Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own hydraulic test rigs and control systems from concept to commissioning. You will lead integration across hydraulic, electrical, and control domains, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.

The role includes creating system documentation and supporting on-site commissioning. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, competitive salary based on experience, and health and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in systems engineering or a similar role.
Strong experience with hydraulic systems and test rigs.
Proven ability to integrate multi-disciplinary systems.
Skilled in producing system-level documentation and specifications.
Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
Familiarity with relevant engineering and safety standards.
Experience with high-pressure or safety-critical hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Develop system architectures for hydraulic test rigs and automation systems.
Define system requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Integrate hydraulic, electrical, and control systems into cohesive solutions.
Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.
Support the design of hydraulic circuits, instrumentation, and control strategies.
Produce system documentation, including functional specifications and test procedures.
Support build, test, and commissioning activities, both in the factory and on-site.
