Qualifications

• Proven experience in systems engineering and design of complex products.
• Strong experience with hydraulic test rigs and integration of subsystems.
• Ability to produce system-level specifications and documentation.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors and data acquisition.
• Familiarity with applicable engineering and safety standards.
• Experience with high-pressure or safety-critical hydraulic systems.

Senior Systems Engineer Orion is partnered with one of the UKs leading specialists in the design and manufacture of bespoke Test & Assembly systems in various industries, with expertise in Aerospace. They are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in hydraulic test rigs and integration to join their dynamic engineering team. If you enjoy owning complex systems from concept to commissioning, tackling real-world engineering challenges, and working across disciplines, this is the role for you. As a key member of the team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of hydraulic test rigs and control systems from requirements gathering and concept design to build, testing, and commissioning.

Responsibilities of the Senior Systems Engineer

• Develop system architectures for hydraulic test rigs and automation systems.
