Job summary

Winsearch is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer on a 6-month contract to lead enterprise infrastructure initiatives across cloud, on-premises and containerised environments. You will shape automation, modernisation and operational excellence across platforms, while supporting critical services and cloud migration efforts.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Windows/Linux, and automation, with strong collaboration with architects and security teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior systems engineering or equivalent roles within enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, container platforms and automation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native technologies.
• Manage Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• Develop IaC and automation solutions.
• Ensure security, resilience and availability across platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
