Job summary

Servomex is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Product) – Gas Analysis Solutions in Crowborough. You will own the full product lifecycle from requirements to release, leading cross-disciplinary teams across software, electronics, mechanics and instrumentation to deliver robust, compliant gas analysis solutions.

You will establish systems engineering best practices, govern technical decisions, and drive verification, validation, risk and architecture activities to ensure performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full product lifecycle from requirement to post release.
• Proven leadership in product development and technical governance.
• Experience eliciting, decomposing, allocating, and managing requirements.
• Proven traceability across the lifecycle of complex systems.
• Strong verification and validation methodologies knowledge.
• Led risk assessments and technical reviews (FMEA optional).
• Understand system architecture development and interface management.
• Multidisciplinary product experience including software/electronics/mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements engineering across customer, stakeholder and regulatory needs.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical solution definition.
• Manage risk, run system-level reviews, provide technical justification.
• Develop verification and validation strategies and criteria.
• Drive engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
