Job summary
Servomex, a global gas analysis leader, seeks an experienced Systems Design Engineer to convert customer requirements into robust system designs for international projects. You will drive bid stages, define scope, lead feasibility reviews and ensure proposals are technically sound and commercially competitive.
Based in Crowborough, occasional travel outside the UK is expected. You will work with global teams to develop integrated engineered solutions, BOMs and cost models while promoting design
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Systems Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or professional accreditation is advantageous.
- Experience designing sampling systems and engineered process solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solution development during bids, defining requirements, scope, assumptions, risks and delivery approaches.
- Design practical and executable solutions centred around sampling systems and process instrumentation.
- Create Bills of Materials, cost models, pricing recommendations and technical proposal documentation.
- Assess feasibility, buildability, compliance and execution risks.
