Job summary

Thales OME in Glasgow is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to drive the complete systems design across the project lifecycle. You will define the solution architecture, manage critical interfaces, and lead IVVQ activities to ensure compliance with customer and product-line requirements.

The role requires SC clearance (or eligibility) and a track record of delivering complex system designs in defence or related sectors. Limited travel to other Thales sites or customer locations may be required.

Qualifications

• SC clearance is required (or must be obtainable) and you have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
• Experience in systems engineering, design leadership and IVVQ activities is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems design throughout the engineering lifecycle from concept to solution.
• Define the technical solution, architecture and interfaces between system components.
• Drive upfront IVVQ activities and de-risk the design while maintaining project schedule.
