New Forest District Council seeks a Senior Systems Administrator (Revenues and Benefits) to manage crucial tax, business rates and benefits systems, delivering insight for decision making. You’ll partner with ICT and service managers to drive automation, data quality and digital change across Revenues and Benefits services.

You’ll join a team serving thousands of residents and businesses, shaping future system enhancements and delivering robust performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and developing business-critical systems.
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing and interpreting management information.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience working with databases, reporting tools and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the administration, development and support of Revenues and Benefits systems.
• Produce management information, statutory returns and performance data.
• Develop and maintain systems aligned to service priorities and digital transformation goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and system integration.
• Collaborate with suppliers and ICT to deliver enhancements and new functionality.
• Support service resilience by ensuring systems are accurate, secure and fit for purpose.
