SSEN Transmission seeks a Senior System Planning and Investment Engineer to focus on power system planning, supporting low‑carbon generation integration into North Scotland’s transmission network. You will ensure secure, cost‑effective operation through optimisation, modelling and advanced analytics.
You will develop and apply transmission network models, optimise topology and strategies, conduct robust studies, and drive improvements in modelling approaches.
Base Location: Flexible Scotland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however, need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSEN offices or depots in Perth or Glasgow.
Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 + performance‑related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
