Job summary

Chaucer, a leading insurance group at Lloyd's, is seeking a Finance professional to manage Syndicate reporting, Lloyd's returns and management information. You will prepare internal and external reports and analytics, and support junior team members.

This role emphasizes strong controls, project work, and collaboration with auditors to ensure timely, accurate results across UK and international operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Working knowledge of Lloyd's accounting and reporting rules.
• UK GAAP knowledge and related reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and reporting abilities.
• Knowledge of Lloyd's software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce Syndicate reporting to Lloyd's (Flash report, Solvency UK, US/Canada situs, RRQ/RRA, QMB, Schedule 3, NAIC).
• Prepare analytics and commentary for regular/Ad hoc queries.
• Support audits by liaising with auditors and supplying required information.
• Maintain internal controls and document procedures affecting the area.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation projects.
• Assist Head of Syndicate Reporting with oversight and junior staff guidance.
