Job Opportunity: Senior Syndicate Accountant

Our client, a prestigious player in the Insurance industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as a Senior Syndicate Accountant. This permanent position offers a dynamic work environment where professional growth is encouraged.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare Syndicate management accounts including analytical review of results
• Prepare Lloyd's returns including Annual returns, Quarterly returns, US and Canadian Reporting (including schedules F&P), US and Canadian SIS.
• Contribute to the development of systems for syndicate reporting.
• Assist with planning and production of Syndicate annual report and accounts.
• Support project work where required

Key Skills

• 3+ years of insurance industry experience in a syndicate reporting role
• Experience in dealing with change and process improvement
• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• High levels of integrity and ability to lead on doing the right thing
• Ability to work semi-independently and use own initiative to problem solve
