Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a Senior Swimming Teacher to support the aquatic programme across the county’s leisure facilities. The role focuses on high-quality customer service and working as One Team with the aquatic staff.

The successful candidate will mentor the team, promote wellbeing, and meet the Welsh language requirement (Level 3). DBS checks will be conducted. Part-time, 4 hours 30 minutes per shift, pro-rated from the 37-hour full-time salary.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Ability to mentor and support aquatic team members.
• Good level of conversational Welsh (Level 3) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Aquatic Coordinator in delivering the aquatic programme.
• Support and mentor the aquatic team to ensure high-quality service.
