Job summary

Radius is recruiting an Environmental & Sustainability Senior Advisor to join our Sustainability & ESG team in Crewe. This newly created role will own the environmental management framework and reporting, shaping practices across a global mobility technology business.

Working with the Climate Change & Environment Manager, you will drive ISO 14001:2026 transition, maintain governance documentation, and coordinate carbon footprint data using Watershed while supporting CSRD/SECR/ESOS reporting.

Qualifications

• Around 4-5 years' experience in environmental or sustainability-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience working with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience gathering and analysing environmental or carbon-related data.
• An interest in sustainability reporting and evolving ESG requirements.
• A proactive mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvement.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI and digital sustainability tools.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 14001 standards.
• Lead preparations for the ISO 14001:2026 transition.
• Maintain environmental policies, procedures and governance documentation.
• Manage Environmental Legal Register and track changing legislation across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate carbon footprint data and become a key user of Watershed carbon accounting platform.
• Support mandatory sustainability reporting requirements (CSRD, SECR, ESOS).
• Monitor emerging environmental, energy and EV legislation across the UK and Europe.
• Build relationships across the business to drive environmental awareness and continuous improvement.
