Job summary

SRG is seeking an experienced Environment Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new environmental function across its North East & Scotland sites. The role focuses on building an EMS aligned to ISO 14001 while advising senior teams on environmental strategy, governance, and compliance across R&D, manufacturing, and innovation programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EMS and ISO 14001 implementation across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders and integrating environmental priorities into business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of EMS across North East & Scotland sites.
• Oversee environmental permitting, compliance, and regulator interactions.
• Drive ESG reporting, carbon management, and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and reporting for environmental performance across sites.
