• Senior Surveyor – Property Management
• Location: Colchester
• Portfolio: Mixed-use (primarily multi-let offices, with some retail & industrial)
• Salary: £50,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits + Bonus

Madison Berkeley is partnering with a leading property consultancy to appoint a Senior Surveyor to join their Property Management team in Colchester, working with an institutional client.

This strategic, client-facing role involves managing a mixed-use portfolio across Colchester and the surrounding area, focusing on portfolio oversight and fund strategy.

The role offers exposure to a major real estate investment manager and opportunities to develop long-term client relationships.

You will report to a Director and work within the local team, delivering excellent service, reporting, and strategic input for a high-value institutional portfolio.

Role Overview

• Manage daily operations of a commercial portfolio
• Handle service charge budgets, lease management, and tenant relations
• Coordinate with FM teams and support capital expenditure and mobilization projects
• Maintain accurate lease data and manage lease events
• Conduct inspections, reporting, and engage with occupiers
• Attend client meetings and support fund activities
• Identify value-add opportunities and support ESG initiatives

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in commercial property management
• Strong technical knowledge of leases, service charges, and compliance
• Good communication skills with commercial awareness
