EC Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join a busy team in Essex, handling a varied mix of lease advisory and general practice surveying across retail, residential, commercial and industrial property.

You will manage your own instructions from enquiry to completion, undertake rent reviews and lease renewals, and provide clear, commercially focused advice. Valuation work may be available depending on experience, with part-time hours considered for the right candidate.

Competenze

• MRICS with minimum two years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Lease Advisory, Professional Services or General Practice surveying.
• Strong knowledge of the property market and comparable evidence.
• Ability to interpret leases and provide professional advice.
• Negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial, practical mindset and ability to manage workload.

I'm recruiting for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join a busy and established team, working across a diverse portfolio of retail, residential, commercial and industrial property.

Whether your background is in Estate Management, Professional Services or Lease Advisory, if you're commercially minded, confident managing your own instructions and enjoy the variety that comes with general practice surveying, this could be worth a conversation.

What you’ll bring

• MRICS qualification with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience
• Experience within Lease Advisory, Professional Services or a related General Practice surveying role
• Strong knowledge of the property market and comparable evidence
• Confidence interpreting leases and providing professional advice
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
• A practical, commercially minded approach
• The ability to manage your own workload and client instructions
• Valuation experience and Registered Valuer status would be advantageous, but are not essential
