Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow (SpR) to join the General Surgical team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, with training opportunities in Upper GI and Lower GI surgery.

The post involves care of elective inpatients and daycare patients, plus emergency admissions under the direction of Consultant Surgeons, including general and specialist outpatient clinics and regular ward work.

Qualifications

• GMC registration is required to practice in the UK.
• Minimum 3 years’ General Surgery ST3+ experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for elective inpatients and daycare patients.
• Manage emergency admissions under Consultant Surgeons.
• Attend general and specialist outpatient clinics and ward work.
• Participate in 1:8 non-resident on-call rota.
