Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow to join the Upper GI Surgery team. The post targets a registrar-equivalent with substantial Upper GI experience, working across the Hammersmith and St Mary’s sites and contributing to ward rounds, outpatient clinics and operating sessions.

A CCT or equivalent is expected or in progress; the role offers teaching opportunities, on‑call responsibilities with a pay banding supplement, and potential for flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in Upper GI surgery with registrar-level responsibilities.
• Eligible for CCT or currently training toward it.

Responsibilities

• General & Upper GI surgery outpatient clinics
• Theatres for upper GI procedures and emergencies
• Ward rounds and MDT participation
• On‑call rota involvement at middle-grade level
