St Margaret's Somerset Hospice is seeking a Supportive Care Lead to provide operational leadership for the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate supportive care services across our Somerset sites.

This senior role requires professional registration and in-depth knowledge of psychological therapy, social work and safeguarding for adults and children, with strong analytical and decision‑making skills. The post is cross-county across Taunton and Yeovil with travel across Somerset.

Qualificações

• Relevant professional qualification and registration.
• Desirable: BSc/MSc in Social work or Safeguarding; Master level qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for the Supportive Care service and safeguarding; ensure high-quality, auditable standards.
• Oversee delivery of supportive care services and budget; manage recruitment and induction.
• Report on service outcomes to governance committees and ensure learning across teams.
• Collaborate with external organisations to improve care pathways and promote equity of access.
