A leading company is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join a vibrant team supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs. Your RoleAs a Senior Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care while providing guidance and supervision to the support team. You’ll be a role model for best practice, helping young people build confidence, independence, and life skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of residential support workers.
Promote a person-centred, therapeutic approach to care that empowers young people.
Assist in planning and reviewing care plans and behavioural strategies.
Ensure high standards of safeguarding, communication, and record keeping.
Support with day-to-day activities, routines, and personal development goals.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
Experience working with children or young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
A calm, compassionate, and resilient personality
Leadership or shift-leading experience is a plus
