Keys Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for our new service at Merthyr Tydfil, The Jays. The role involves leading a team of Support Workers, delivering high-quality care, and promoting community engagement within a supportive home environment.

You’ll work 35 hours per week, report to the service lead, and coordinate care plans with healthcare professionals. Please note applicants must be over 18 and DBS checks are covered by Keys Group.

• Ensure duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, contributing to a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere

LOCATION: The Jays, Merthyr Tydfil (CF47)

HOURS: 35 hours per week

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Support Workers to join our team at one of our brand new services based in Merthyr Tydfil, The Jays!

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Managing a team of Support Workers
• Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
• Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
• Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
• Liaise with health professionals and their families
• Complete supervisions and audits
• To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
