Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for our brand new service in Merthyr Tydfil, The Jays. You will manage a team of Support Workers and ensure high-quality care and support for people we support, following care plans and fostering positive community engagement.

You will report and record accurately, liaise with health professionals and families, and complete supervisions and audits to maintain standards in a warm, homely home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in care and support roles preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Support Workers on shift.

JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker

LOCATION: The Jays, Merthyr Tydfil (CF47)

HOURS: 35 hours per week

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Support Workers to join our team at one of our brand new services based in Merthyr Tydfil, The Jays!

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Managing a team of Support Workers
• Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
• Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
• Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
• Liaise with health professionals and their families
• Complete supervisions and audits
• To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
