Milewood Healthcare Ltd in Scarborough is seeking a Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to oversee day-to-day care and lead staff across shifts at Rowan House and Parkview.

You will ensure person-centred care, develop and review care plans with residents and families, monitor quality, and support mobility and community access, including driving where required. A compassionate leader with strong IT and regulatory knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a care home or senior care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience creating and implementing personalised care plans.
• Good understanding of adult social care regulations.
• Confident using IT systems for care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and motivate care staff across shifts.
• Ensure delivery of person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
• Lead the development and review of care plans with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor care quality and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Organise staff rotas and maintain safe staffing levels.

Parkviewis a large home on the North Bay side of Scarborough, overlooking Peasholm Park. The property is within easy walking distance of the beach and many local amenities. Scarborough is a lively and popular holiday resort with great beaches and a harbour, dominated by its castle.

The Role

As a Senior / Team Leader, you will play a key leadership role within the home, overseeing day-to-day care delivery and supporting staff to provide compassionate, high-quality care. You will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure care is personalised, safe, and effective.
