Job description

To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Men’s Hostel, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents. The Team Leader will provide supervision and guidance to support staff, coordinate services, and ensure high-quality care and support are delivered in line with policies and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of support workers to deliver effective resident care.
  • Ensure hostel operations run smoothly, including staff rotas, shift handovers, and incident management.
Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year paid or 2 years' voluntary in homeless or related sector.
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or higher or equivalent.
  • At Least 6 months' paid or 1 year voluntary experience with relevant 3rd level qualification Competent in the use of IT.
  • Previous experience providing support in a residential setting. Knowledge of safeguarding adults (and children where appropriate) at risk.
