Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Senior Support Worker in Deal to lead a team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role requires rota‑based shifts, including sleep-ins, and active involvement in the local community and activities.

You will supervise staff, ensure care plans are followed and records are kept to a professional standard, while supporting independence and choice for service users.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work rota-based shifts including on-call.
• Ability to work unsociable hours as required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (paid for by employer).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers with guidance and day-to-day direction.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support following care plans, reviewing as needed.
• Coordinate activities, appointments, and community engagement for service users.
• Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and reviews to a high standard.
• Participate in Senior On-Call rota to respond to needs and incidents.
