Job summary

Voyage Care in Oldbury is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service with a dedicated team. You will help people gain independence and support the manager with day-to-day supervision, scheduling shifts, and training while ensuring safe, person-centred care.

Ideal candidates have prior Senior Support Worker experience, a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, and experience supporting individuals with distress, mental health conditions, or trauma.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including distress, mental health conditions, or trauma.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential service and support the manager with day-to-day supervision.
• Allocate shifts, book training and induct new colleagues.
• Support with supervision, ordering medication and ensuring people we support manage finances.
