Job summary

Voyage Care in Chippenham is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to lead our 11-bed nursing service. You will support the Manager with daily supervision, allocate shifts, arrange training, and induct new staff, ensuring high-quality care.

You will help residents gain more independence, assist with medication ordering, and support with finances while maintaining a compassionate, person-centred approach across seven days and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience as Senior Support Worker.
• Experience supporting individuals with enhanced needs (distress behaviour, ABI, autism, trauma).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and supervise staff at the Chippenham home.
• Allocate shifts, train and induct new colleagues, and monitor service quality.
• Assist with medication ordering and support residents to manage finances.
• Support independence and help residents achieve goals.
