Job summary

Keys Group’s Bryn Awel in Brecon, Powys is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead day-to-day care for seven adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You'll manage a team of Support Workers, follow care plans, report accurately, and liaise with health professionals.

The role offers up to 46.5 hours per week, shifts 8:30-21:00 and 21:00-8:30 if required, with benefits including enhanced annual leave, DBS paid, career development, and a pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Experience in care settings with adults who have learning disabilities or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Support Workers according to care plans.
• Provide high standards of care and support for people we support.
• Promote community activities and report records accurately.
• Liaise with health professionals and families.
• Complete supervisions and audits and ensure standards.
• Ensure staff duties are performed to a happy and homely standard.
