Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead the care team at Chestnut House, Marton, Lincolnshire. The role focuses on high-quality care for residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs, requiring patience, empathy and respect for individual abilities.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and commitment to residents.
• Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leading, managing and supporting the care team to ensure high quality of care for all residents.
• Regularly reviewing and updating care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Engaging with residents with respect to their dignity and communication needs.
• Administering and recording medications as prescribed with accurate dose monitoring.
• Ensuring each resident’s dignity and independence is preserved and promoted.
• Encouraging residents to participate in daily living discussions and activities.
• Assisting with personal care where necessary.
