Job summary

Prime Life in Leicester is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide dignified care and companionship to residents living with a range of mental health and physical disabilities. The role focuses on promoting independence, assisting with daily living tasks, and participating in care planning with a dedicated team.

Full training is provided, and prior experience is welcome but not required as applicants demonstrate patience and empathy for the residents in a supportive home environment.

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role, you have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents.
• Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful and dignified support to residents.
• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life for them.
• Provide companionship while offering emotional and practical support.
• Assist residents in daily living decisions and activities.
• Help with day-to-day activities including personal care and meals.
• Promote resident independence in meal preparation and at mealtimes.
• Work with other professionals on individualised care and development plans.
