Job summary

Satash Community Care Project Ltd. in South Ockendon is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to lead a small team and provide high-quality personal care to vulnerable service users. You will supervise staff, mentor new recruits, and ensure safeguarding and welfare across home and community settings.

The role includes planning activities, maintaining records, and supporting service users with daily living tasks while promoting wellbeing and safety.

Qualifications

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
• Respectful, articulate and sensitive communication.
• Ability to supervise a small team and provide mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a cluster of care workers (typically 1–3 staff).
• Train and mentor new staff and delegate duties to the team.
• Support vulnerable children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Provide high-quality personal care and assist with daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate records and health folders, and manage sick cover to ensure staffing levels.
• Assist with activity planning and community outings aligned with individual programmes.
