Voyage Care in Norton Fitzwarren is hiring a Senior Support Worker (Part Time) on a £15.43 per hour basis for 24 hours a week. Typical shifts run 07:30–19:30, two shifts weekly with alternating weekends, and a supportive team environment in our residential nursing service.

You will help residents gain independence, assist with day-to-day supervision, shift planning, and training for new colleagues, while ensuring high-quality care and DBS checks as part of our commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Support Worker, including rota planning and on-call duties.
• Experience with complex care needs such as Huntingdon's, ABI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, and supervise.
• Order medication and support residents to manage finances.
